islamify blogThe Islamify Blog | Blog.Islamify.com

I would like to proudly announce the launch of the Islamify Blog. This site will serve numerous purposes. First and foremost it is a venue to communicate with fans of the Muslim Social News site Islamify.com. Our team will share news and updates as well as entertain suggestions and field questions about the site.

Another important goal of the Islamify blog will be to educate simpler folk about the ever-changing internet. We intend to deal with topics describing web 2.0 basics like RSS feeds and popular social media sites.

Lastly, the site will introduce both internet novices and veterans to new and existing web services that they may not be familiar with.

As you can see we will have a little bit of everything, we hope that you enjoy it and subscribe to the RSS feed so you can be updated regularly.

Welcome to my humble blog. I hope to share with you my unique insights on education, society and history. I have had a great passion for these subjects, but for a long time I’ve had no outlet to share them with the world until now. I also hope to ferociously challenge all sorts of illegitimate authorities, some you know and some you don’t. If you don’t come away with the impression that I have nothing but contempt for institutionalized “education” then you probably need to pay more attention while reading.

Furthermore, I will take great pleasure in attacking some comfortable assumptions that are all too common. If you happen to hold any of these assumptions as true then thank the Almighty I decided to embark on this blog-quest and hold on to your medulla oblongata.

Don’t think, however, that it’s going to be all criticism, I have a great deal of interesting insights I have accumulated from learning about traditional education that I intend to share. Of course, these will be punctuated with scathing attacks on the modern educational system and various other oppressive social constructs.

I hope you learn a lot and that the information I post is actually useful to you on some level. And if you do benefit from anything here then please share it with your friends, relatives or complete strangers who happen to be woefully ignorant of my special brand of wisdom.
