Instead of journalists using long lists of anonymous government sources and calling this “investigative” journalism they have begun using an innovative new journalistic technique: lying.  That’s right, just plain old lying and not the “distortion of facts’ lying but the “no proof, sources or even a little birdie told me” lying just plain ol’ garden variety lying.
