Fifth Grader in Deep Thought
Posted by themanoffewwords under Humor
This was really funny and in many ways incomprehensible to me so I am sharing.
I was sitting with a group of student who had to retake a math test. One of the students had been in deep contemplation for a long time; his head raised his eyes turned up in deep thought with his hand on his chin. I saw him mumbling something so I discreetly came closer to hear what he was saying. This is what I heard:
“Umm, Mario, Luigi, umm … Kumba, Yoshi … Yes! Of, Course!” After which he returned to his test and scribbled furiously.
It took all of my strength not to laugh hysterically for the next hour.

Well, if the kid was intentionally making a joke then he would be a comic genius which would certainly make him great company. I don’t think his comments were intentionally meant to be funny though.

That reminds me of the time I got so frustrated taking an exam that I made up 10 of my own questions at the end and answered them just so I had something to put down on the paper….

Joe, I’ve done that too!I studied so hard and very little of what I knew was even on the test! I refused to fail without proving I knew it all. My professor decided to pass me =)
